Product DescriptionThe 1701G provides an easy way for interfacing remote start
products with the vehicle’s OEM transponder based anti-theft system, while
maintaining the integrity of the OEM anti-theft system. Developed on the CAN BUS
architecture; the 1701G is remarkably compatible with GM vehicles equipped with
the new style hybrid Passlock (resistance) and Passkey 3+ (transponder) type
anti theft system. Override OEM security and control convenience features; such
as door locks, trunk release, sliding doors & rear defrost on GM vehicles
equipped with 2nd generation multiplexed doorlock system.
